Plot 16 Moscow – Model for Venice Biennial

The 2 tower ‘Plot 16′ project located in downtown Moscow is currently under construction. This model was built for exhibit at the 2008 Venice Architectural Biennial. The 60″ tall 1/300 scale model features dozens of LEDs, chemical etched stainless steel parts, welded stainless steel base, and many special detailed sections.

Bergen Bridge – Zero Energy Draw Bridge Model

The Balance Bridge, a proposed 132-meter-long pedestrian span for the Puddefjorden in Bergen, Norway is a technologically advanced zero-energy drawbridge.

1/500 Scale, working model – Designed by Skidmore, Owings, Merrill LLC., I built the model from the ground up while working as a full time model maker.

NATO Headquarters Scale Model

While employed at SOM I created portions of this large scale model of the new NATO headquarters that is being built in NATO. We worked with an international team of architects and engineers to accurately portray their vision. I wired a lighting system for this model consisting of high output luxeon LEDs, PWM LED drivers, power inversion for European power requirements, and simple micro controller timer for battery operation. The model was made of 24 interlocking modules which were printed with Objet PolyJet 3D printing technology and then cleaned up and lacquer painted.
